Long Table Canapés

SGLBA’s Long Table Canapés is the Association’s premium content-led networking event. Like all SGLBA events, we invite everyone to attend.  It is open to members of the LGBTI community, and its allies. 

Who attends?

Attended by entrepreneurs, business owners, and corporate employees, all looking to grow their business and attribute tangible return-on-investment to their networking activity.

Usually attended by between 40 – 70 people, it is an intimate, professional environment conducive to increasing one’s professional network, promoting one’s business, and gaining new insights.

Evening Format

Canapés follows a set format at a different venue on each occasion. Approx. 40 – 70 people, 6pm drinks and canapés function, address by the host, keynote speaker/s and facilitated networking.

Where is the event held?

The event is hosted at the venue of the sponsor. Past events have been hosted by such companies as Telstra, Lendlease, LinkedIn and Google. In June each year, we look forward to being hosted by Macquarie Bank in their heritage listed offices at 50 Martin Place.


Networker Members and above: Free
Associate Members: $25 + Eventbrite Booking Fee
Guests: $75 + Eventbrite Booking Fee
