You will have seen increasing coverage of COVID-19 (also known as coronavirus) in the media. Please be assured that we are keeping up to date with the current situation and we are constantly assessing the impact of any COVID-19 developments on SGLBA events.
In relation to Fruits in Suits this Thursday 19th March, we have decided to cancel the event in the interest of the health and wellbeing of our members as well as our guests.
We are conscious of the increasing risk within NSW and we understand many members and guests are concerned about attending public events.
We will continue to monitor and assess the situation and its impact on future events. We thank you for your understanding in relation to this.
General advice for your own health & those around you.
We encourage our members and guests to adhere to the advice given to prevent infections, including washing your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water, and covering your cough (in your elbow) and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
If you are unwell with respiratory illness, you should seek medical advice and remain at home until symptoms resolve (or self-isolate for as long as medically directed).
Specific requirements including additional quarantine measures are in place for people who have returned from a country or region that is at high or moderate risk for COVID-19 or think they may have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
