Thank you for joining us at Fruits in Suits this month. Thank you to our Presenting Partner SAP and community partners Bobby Goldsmith Foundation, Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras and New Theatre.
We had door prizes and a raffle with funds raised donated to the SGLBA Education Fund.
Karl Schmid, representing The Bobby Goldsmith Foundation spoke about living with HIV and addressed the stigma still associated.
About our Presenting Partner: SAP
Culture and identity at SAP is about honouring the many voices who inspire our innovation every day. The three pillars of this area are the Employee Network Groups, Culture & Ethnicity, and the LGBTIQ Community (sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression).
The many voices at SAP provide one of our greatest sources of strength, shaping our work environment and sense of community. Our identity as a company is defined by each person at SAP.
The Bobby Goldsmith Foundation (BGF) is Australia’s longest-running HIV charity. Founded in 1984, when a group of friends got together to give their dying mate Bobby Goldsmith the care he needed in the comfort of his home, BGF has gone on to provide that same individualised care to thousands of Australians.
When the level of HIV in a person's blood is so low that it cannot be detected, it means that person has an undetectable viral load and cannot transmit the virus to others. Visit https://t.co/CGd9HK02Ya and learn more. #KnowYourStatus #UequalsU pic.twitter.com/XdHyXpC8gQ
